Dialogizität

Emile Benveniste DE

The conception of every utterance as a dialogical relation between speaker and listener (or writer and reader), despite separation in time and space.

Açıklama

The conception of every utterance as a dialogical relation between speaker and listener (or writer and reader), despite separation in time and space. The theory of enunciation understands language use as always directed toward a 'you' and containing the possibility of a response. Thus, discourse is not a one-sided statement but fundamentally a dialogical event.
