An-Sich-Sein

Jean-Paul Sartre DE

An unconscious, self-contained, and objective mode of being characterized by fullness.

Açıklama

An unconscious, self-contained, and objective mode of being characterized by fullness. The world of things encountered by human consciousness exists in this mode; things simply are what they are and do not account for themselves. In Sartre’s ontology, being-in-itself provides the ground and fullness against which the nihilating structure of being-for-itself emerges.
