Açıklama

The historical structure of knowledge that determines what, within a given period, can be regarded as intelligible, demonstrable, and rational across all fields of knowledge. An episteme refers to a deeper level of regularity that transcends individual disciplines; when this underlying structure changes, entire domains of knowledge are reconfigured. Epistemes are also closely intertwined with the reorganization of relations of power, shaping and being shaped by broader historical transformations.
