Açıklama

A form of historical critique that reveals the contingent emergence of institutions, practices, and concepts within specific struggles and relations of power. Genealogy rejects the search for an original essence or foundational origin and challenges notions of continuity and historical necessity. Instead, it uncovers multiple and conflicting beginnings, traces their effects on bodies, and exposes the power strategies through which they operate. In doing so, genealogical analysis provides a tactical form of knowledge for critically engaging with and contesting existing apparatuses of power.
