The analytical nexus through which knowledge is understood as always immanent to relations of power, while power itself organizes and sustains the production of knowledge. Power is not a coercive force wholly separate from knowledge; rather, it operates relationally through processes of knowledge production. Every form of knowledge is connected to specific mechanisms of constraint and regulation, thereby linking regimes of truth with techniques of governance.
