The counter-practices and strategies that emerge within relations of power, disrupting, contesting, and reconfiguring them. For Foucault, the subject is not merely the product of power but also an agent capable of acting within and against power relations. Practices of self-care, parrhesia (fearless truth-telling), and alternative modes of subjectivation thus appear as sites of resistance to dominant forms of subject formation, including those associated with neoliberal governmentality.
